An acreage garden is a different job from a suburban backyard. There's more ground and more water to manage. There's usually a long list of wants too: a pool, a vegetable patch, feature trees, privacy screening, somewhere for the kids to play.
Birdwood has planned and built gardens on acreage at Lisarow, Palm Valley and further afield, from courtyards near the house to land of 100 acres. On one 110 acre weekender, soil from extending the existing dam was used to level up around the new home, which was more efficient than importing fill.
You can have Birdwood build the whole thing, or take the plan and do it in stages yourself.

Three steps, with the design fee known before any drawing starts.
- Site meetingWarren comes out and walks the block with you to see the slope, the sun and the soil. If you go ahead with a design, the meeting fee comes off it.
- Fee proposal and planWarren sends a design fee proposal, then draws a plan for your block and the way you want to use it.
- Build, managedBirdwood builds it, with Warren running every trade, or you take the plan and build in stages.
