About Birdwood Landscape Design
A family owned landscape design business in Kariong, run by Warren Green since 2003.
I'm Warren Green, and I've run Birdwood Landscape Design from Kariong since 2003. It's a family owned business, and my family has been behind it from the start.
Before Birdwood I spent decades working with Civic Trees, one of the leading wholesale nurseries for advanced trees. That meant high end gardens, big commercial jobs and a tree transplanting division, and it's where I learned how much a mature tree can do for a garden.
Along the way I've worked on award winning jobs. They include a 2002 Master Builders Association winner with MGBS. With Civic Trees there were design and construct displays at ABC Gardening Live and the Sydney Garden Expo in 2003.
These days I meet every client on site, draw the plans and run the build. I use trades I've worked with for years: stonemasons, carpenters, excavators, fencers and turf growers. A lot of our work comes from people our past clients have sent our way.

What clients say about Warren and the team
Warren and his team transformed our overgrown jungle into a beautiful rainforest garden. Everyone involved worked very hard in difficult conditions - rain, mud and more rain. But they got there and two years later, the garden is flourishing. We are very happy. Janet and Margaret, Avoca Beach
Easy to deal with, friendly, professional and a fantastic designer. Warren delivered on what he said he would, within budget and left the site clean and tidy each day. Have recommended Birdwood to others.
Birdwood landscaped our house and pool area on acreage 3 hours north of Sydney. Visits to our site pre construction for design feedback and material sourcing showed the level of commitment by Warren and his team to ensure the project was completed fast and efficiently. Thanks again!
“We had a long list of things we wanted included in our 2.5 acre landscape design. Everything from a cottage garden, vegetable patch, feature trees, privacy screening and a kids playground. What BLD came up with was fantastic! They consulted us throughout the design process and were open to ideas. Even after providing the DYI plan, we found their service and advice to be exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who requires a landscape design.” Lee and Linda, Lisarow
Luckily, I came across Warren. He went above and beyond of what I expected! Additionally, he has many good connections and also helped with a carpenter + stone works.
Warren is a very hard working man with an easy attitude and good sense of humour. Apart from the fantastic result done on time, it’s been an absolute pleasure working with him.
